I'm working on the theme of the eyes of the skin,

最近因為寫報告在看一本書，The eyes of the skin.

There is a opinion which is "the hierarchy of the senses was not the same as in the twentieth century because of the eye, which rules today, found itself in third place, behind hearing and touch, and far after them." (The eyes of the skin, P.25) makes me think about a movie "The eye".

作者說，在知覺的階級裡面，我們以為主要主宰的視覺其實只是第三位，某種程度的重要性還遠遠排名在聽覺及觸覺後面。

這本書裡面的觀點讓我想起最近才要上映的一部片子，變眼(The eye)。

題外話，如果你對這部電影有興趣的話。

This is a remake of the Hong Kong creepy horror movie "見鬼Gin gwai".

這部電影的題材是香港毛骨悚然及恐怖代表電影見鬼的重拍。

 (為什麼要那麼陰森...好恐怖啊~~~)

潔西卡艾巴(漂亮孕婦媽咪)飾演的年輕女子雪妮，因為接受了移植手術而從盲人回到可以看見光明的世界。

(這對比多恐怖啊~~我喜歡演喜劇的艾巴，但是在變眼中感覺她已經不再是花瓶囉!!)

However, her new eyes, more specifically, the corneas; enable her to see the unsuspecting public world and she believes the corneas have the memory of her donor.

然而她的那雙眼睛，正確來說應該是那對角膜，卻讓她看到了不可相信的現象。此時他相信，他所看到的世界是來自角膜捐贈者殘留下來的記憶。

不能爆雷啦~如果想被嚇的小朋友們請花錢去電影院。我是已經恐怖的畫面及還不賴的音效嚇到三次以上有啦…(大爺說跟我一起看鬼片不會被電影嚇到會被我嚇到，所以看鬼片找我還有物超所值的效果…硍!!嚇到我抽筋…)

回到我的話題，我想這部電影我想聯想到為什麼一個盲人可以經歷了那麼多事力正常的人不能經驗的事件。

My tutor, Simon, said: we all use eyes to see the world, but we forget the hearing and touch is the primary organ to help us experience the world and sensory input of perception.

老師賽門說，我們平常都太依賴視覺，其實我們忽略了聽覺與觸覺才是我們體驗與接收外來訊息的重點。

做個小實驗，如果你比較: 1.看電視+把聲音關掉；2.打開聲音+不看影像。哪種方法你對節目的理解度比較多呢?

我沒有做過這個實驗，所以不能說答案是不是正確。但是老師說『只聽聲音』的理解度是比較高的…

Back to the plot, a blind can notice many dangers better than a normal one. They have stronger feeling of hearing and touch.

習慣用眼睛看的我們，應該要學習多聽聽與多觸碰了。我能確定小寶寶的接收能力比我這個已經活了27年的人強很多…
